Cedar Village Assisted Living is designed for residents who need some help with the Activities of Daily Living and aren’t quite ready to settle down. SPARK® is a research-based program inspired by the teachings and research of Maria Montessori and Dr. Cameron Camp, which focuses on giving residents meaningful ways to feel needed and be productive. We use tailor-fit assessment tools to evaluate each resident’s capabilities and strengths, so the program can best meet their specific needs.

The effectiveness and success of our SPARK® program for Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents is based on 4 foundational pillars.

• Social: We ensure that each resident has a role in the community that allows them to interact with others.
• Skills Focused: Our Montessori Assessment Tool uncovers remaining skills often missed by traditional evaluations.
• Procedural Memory: Skills can be learned and even improved through repetitive “procedural learning,” which allows residents to perform routine activities with less concerted effort.
• Progression & Goal Setting: Residents who work on projects or learn new things over a period of time with a set goal in mind feel more engaged and successful.

Before a resident moves into the community, customized assessments are completed so individual care plans can be created. These care plans are updated quarterly or earlier if needed. In addition to the Medical Director and highly trained RN, our LPN, and nursing team is staffed by Medical Technicians who manage medications for residents.

With features usually seen in resorts, our community surpasses the standard. Cedar Village offers fine living and dining accommodations, beautiful courtyards, and expertly maintained flower gardens. Flat walking paths meander through the courtyard where comfortable seating lines pathways. Our patio offers sunny opportunities for chatting with new and old friends.

You’ll always find help or a cheery hello at the front desk. Private dining rooms are available for residents and their families to enjoy a special occasion. Residents can get a sweet treat at the ice cream parlor or watch a game in the TV room. Our library is well stocked and delivers a quiet spot for reading or relaxing. For those wanting a day of pampering our salon and spa services are available.

Our community features spacious apartments with modern touches, kitchenettes, refrigerators, telephone and Wi-Fi. Bathroom are all ADA compliant. The community has a beautiful common area, and inviting social dining areas. Large windows offer natural light to residents. The overall feel is one that is warm, inviting, and safe.
