Executive Director
Julie Smith, Executive Director at Solace Glen, began her career in senior living after leaving the Air Force and has been serving seniors for most of her life. Over the past 32 years, Julie has served in various roles and different levels within Senior Living companies including: Certified Activity Director, Memory Care Director, Regional Life Enrichment Specialist, National Director of Memory Care. Julie enjoys creating fulfilling and fun environments for not only the residents but the team members she supports.
In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband Mike riding on the back of their Harley Davidson motorcycle and hosting family game nights and themed meals in her home. She is mom to 4 adult children and a grandma to a bonus granddaughter, Avery and adorable grand-dog, a French Bulldog named King.
