SKILLS FOCUSED
Our Montessori Assessment Tool, created by the Center for Applied Research in Dementia, uncovers remaining skills often missed by traditional assessments. We can then strengthen and build on those identified skills.
PROCEDURAL MEMORY
Skills can be learned or improved through “procedural learning.” This repetition then allows routine activities to be performed with less need for concerted concentration.

Our award-winning Spark® program provides our wonderful residents with the opportunity to engage in purposeful work, while learning new skills and contributing to the local community. Each week, the members of our Lavender Arbor Club make beautiful, fragrant soaps.
Residents choose the scent, shape and color of each product. Together, they produce the soaps and determine a sale price. All proceeds from soap sales go to charity.

Executive Director
James has been working in senior living for more than a decade in independent living, assisted living, memory care, and hospice. Working with so many families over the years, he has grown a love for working with seniors. In his down time, he loves spending time with his 2 daughters, playing golf, and has playing guitar (for over 30 years). He writes and produces country music songs and works with a singer in Nashville to promote his music.
